Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
Skyquire ("we", "us") operates skyquire.com and its associated web and mobile applications — a platform for business acquisitions and mergers in India. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email address, phone number, and role (corporate, buyer, or seller) when you register or join our waitlist.
- Business data — information you submit about a business you are selling or acquiring, including financials and documents you upload for verification.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and device/browser information, used to improve the product.
- Communications — messages you exchange through the platform and emails you send to us.
2. How we use it
- To provide the platform: matching buyers with businesses, verifying listings, facilitating deals, and mediating communication.
- To send transactional emails (inquiry updates, listing status, offers). Marketing emails are sent only with your consent and always include an unsubscribe option.
- To improve our AI features — our matching and assistant features process the preferences and business details you provide in order to generate suggestions for you.
- To comply with Indian law, including KYC and verification requirements.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
- We do not reveal a seller's identity to buyers, or a buyer's identity to sellers, without consent — communication is mediated by our team.
- We do not use your uploaded business documents for anything other than verification and deal facilitation.
4. Storage and security
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Vercel) using encryption in transit and at rest. Access to business documents is restricted by row-level security and signed, time-limited URLs. Payment information, when introduced, will be handled by an RBI-regulated payment provider and never stored by us.
5. Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)
- Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Grievance — raise a complaint with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@skyquire.com. We respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies — session cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users.
